So good!! Definitely freshly made! A hole in the wall spot. I wish they had normal service instead of online ordering to the table, but the servers were still attentive. They have a large menu and what I did try was very good. The sweet taro bun was a must! Xiao long bao were a little too salty but very flavorful and still good. The fried buns were very tasty, I might have liked them more than the xiao long bao.

4/02/2025: Bumping my rating for One Bite Dumpling to a solid 5 stars! After a couple of days running errands with my Mom, we needed something warm and yummy for dinner and she picked One Bite Dumpling. They did NOT disappoint! We arrived at 7:30pm on a Wednesday, and the place was busy! Only a couple of small tables available. We were greeted and seated quickly. When we asked if they had a printed menu for my 94 year old Mom who has issues scanning a QR code and looking at a small screen, our server Kristofer darted off and came back with two printed menus! He also said he would take our order if we didn't want to use a smart phone to complete the process. Fantastic! We started with an order of their Spicy Cucumber Salad. I don't know what they're marinated in, but they are delicious! Great crunch and flavor, just a bit of heat and a touch of the Sichuan peppercorn tingle on the tongue. This dish will be on repeat! For our main items we ordered: Crab & Pork XLB - it was delicious. The skins are perfection and the filling reminds me of "that other place that starts with a D". Depth of flavor, just the right amount of soup contained within.. so good! You can watch "Grandma" crafting each and every dumpling by hand through a clear partition. Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens. The biggest surprise of our meal, it is a soup! I might not have ordered if I had known, but this dish was the standout star! Our server told us this is one of the owners favorite dishes, and I can absolutely see why. The depth of flavor of the broth, it was served nice and hot on a chilly evening. The tender chunks of fish, the plentiful pickled mustard greens and the spicy chili and peppercorns really round out this soup! It's a must try! The Sautéed Bok Choy was excellent. Plenty of garlic and a flavorful simmering broth that begged to be sipped. Makes eating your greens a treat! I noticed a sign on the door that says they offer a lunch special. Hopefully those working nearby will flock to One Bite Dumpling for a fantastic meal!

The dumplings and potstickers were delicious and so authentically homemade. I watched someone's Chinese grandma rolling the dough and forming the dumplings with expertise, as we sat at our table. It was a great first visit to this gem of a place and I am looking forward to going back to try more things!

If you're a fan of soup dumplings, One Bite Dumpling is convenient for SCV locals. Their xiao long bao are perfectly crafted--thin, delicate wrappers filled with rich, flavorful broth and meat. Beyond the dumplings, the menu offers a great variety of noodles and dim sum all made with fresh ingredients. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, making it a great spot for a casual meal. Disliked: spicy vermicelli Har gow is a little pricey!

We found this place after we finished at a local fencing tournament. My son wanted soup dumplings and we lucked out cause this is the best place for soup dumplings. The place is cozy and gets busy fast. I would recommend getting there right when they open for dinner. You can order online and the servers bring your food to the table. The food was absolutely delicious. Next time we are in the area we are definitely coming back.

Who would think there would be a great dumpling place in Newhall! It's located a few minutes away from William Hart Park, in a small strip mall. The place is packed on a Sunday for lunch - pretty good selection of dishes, along with dim sum, hand made dumplings, noodle soups. My bro in law ordered a beef noodle soup and the bowl was MASSIVE! I got the xiao long bao which were big and juicy - love that they steam them in individual little custard tins. Also love the emotional support dumplings lol

First time eating here and I have to say that this is a kind of place that Santa Clarita needs... It's not much to look at when you go inside- meaning that this place didn't appear to look as if was cleaned top to bottom every day, and the chairs weren't meant for fluffy people, but I still gave it a whirl. The portions were big and can be easily shared by two or three people. I was really surprised how fast and fresh the food was prepared and served to us. Ordering on the menu is a little complicated as you need to use your phone and scan a QR code. They do have some menus available for those who are not 'tech savvy,' but other than that, you'll be able to figure it out on your own. My party and I ordered a lot of different items, so we passed around everything and shared our plates. The green beans were particularly delicious and my shrimp fried rice was good, too. I've had better, more flavorful egg drop soup elsewhere. Some of the items that we ordered were a bit on the bland side, but some chili, salt and pepper fixed that right up. The coconut shrimp was really good and I preferred the beef and onion potstickers versus the beef and cabbage steamed dumplings. I'll be back to try more.
